The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, as delegate of the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, has approved the $30 million State Significant Multi-Trades and Digital Technology Hub at the TAFE Meadowbank campus. This approval, along with the recently approved Meadowbank Schools Project, will help bring to life the Greater Sydney Commission’s vision for the Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct.

The Hub will provide an active learning environment co-locating disciplines under building, construction, engineering and manufacturing that are united by a focus on new digital technologies. The development forms part of the NSW Government’s investment to transform the TAFE Meadowbank into a technology-focused campus. The $30+ million development will provide approximately 120 construction jobs and 125 full time jobs once completed.

As the project town planner, Keylan has been involved in this project from the outset and prepared the Request for SEARs, Environmental Impact Statement and Responses to Submissions. Keylan is proud to be a member of TAFE NSW’s team to deliver this state of the art facility within a world class education precinct.
